Description
KARABINEK HS VHS-2-S
The "bullpup" design, in which the cartridge chamber is located in the stock, allows to reduce the overall size of the rifle, leaving the full length of the barrel. The HS VHS-2 has a total length of only 72 cm, while also having a 16-inch cold-forged barrel. Cold forging changes the structure of the steel, increasing its strength and extending the service life of the rifle barrel. The barrel has an internal chrome coating, which increases its service life and facilitates cleaning. A 1: 7 thread was used, designed for heavy bullet ammunition, which at this length of the barrel will ensure optimal ballistic parameters and stabilization of the projectile's flight. The barrel ends with a 1 / 2x28 ”thread for a muzzle device, with a factory fitted flash hider.
HS VHS is equipped with double-sided manipulators that work with a cartridge ejection system that is adaptable for left-handed shooters, making it easy to maneuver in the workspace using both arms.
HS VHS is equipped with a double-sided case ejection system, an ejection port that requires no additional parts or tools to change the case ejection side. The system is complemented by two-sided manipulators, including a fire selector, a reloading lever, a magazine release and a bolt release. Thanks to these solutions, you can easily maneuver the carabiner in the working space using both arms.
An adjustable gas system with the "N" (Normal) and "S" (Supressed) settings will allow the shooter to quickly adjust the amount of gases returned to the system depending on the muzzle device used. The carabiner has flip-up sights integrated with the Picantinny upper rail, this solution allows you to always have an alternative method of aiming at hand without taking up space on the rail. The front handguard is equipped with mounting rails in the M-lok system at 9, 6, 3 o'clock, making it possible to mount a wide range of accessories without unnecessarily increasing the weight of the carabiner.
